Spring Open Horse Show - Book Signing Event

Spring Open Horse Show - Book Signing Event

Saturday, May 14, 2016 - Another great Open Horse Show put on by the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Mounted Posse

It was hot and windy but overall, I had a great time at this year's Spring Open Horse Show. It was great meeting new people, selling a few books and my novel themed bracelets were even a hit.

This year, a portion of the proceeds were split between two worthwhile organizations. 1. The Utah 1033 Foundation - an organization which provides immediate financial support to the families of fallen Utah Law Enforcement Officers. 2. The local 4H youth group. It was an honored to be included as an active participant again for 2016 and I look forward to seeing what this amazing group of volunteers have in store for us next year.

Fans, Warriors & Ice Cream

Fans, Warriors & Ice Cream

November 2015 -Met my youngest fan HayLee for ice cream.

Had a great visit this morning with one of my fans, HayLee who is ten years old. She is anxiously awaiting my next release so in the meantime I thought we could get together for ice cream. As a special thank you, I made her a charm bracelet that represents each book in my series. She loved it. HayLee is an amazing kid who loves to read.

I'm honored to be called her "Favorite" author. As an added bonus, I was surprised to learn I made HayLee's wish list to Santa this year. I really hope he came through for her.

May 2015 - I had a great time at the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office Annual Spring Open Horse Show in South Jordan, Utah.

They had tons of events for the kids from Western Pleasure to Poles to Bareback and Barrels. Kids eight and over competed for trophies, prizes and tons of fun. The Hired Guns (Cowboy entertainers) were a big hit. Plus a portion of the proceeds went to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. AND...I even sold a few books!

The final touch was the amazing sunset over the valley that night. It was a fun time had by all and I can't wait to do it again.
